About Us
Shea Candle Co. was created in 2021 by Colorado Springs native and 614 -raised, Pashea Proby-Henderson. What started online, has evolved into a brick & mortar space, located in the Heart of Downtown Cincinnati.
The mission is multi-layered, much like our fragrances. At the base sits pieces of Pashea's story, woven together by scent name, fragrance notes, and design of vessel - Storytelling through fragrance and aesthetic.
" I'm telling my story, but not so much so that others can't create their own memories and stories around the scents they bring home."
The heart of our mission is creating fragrance products that are unique in scent and safe to burn. All of our products use clean scents. This means that the fragrances used are free from the following:
- Carcinogens
- Acute toxins
- Reproductive toxins
- Mutagens
- Organ toxins
One should not have to compromise safety, to smell good/ fill a space with something long-lasting and fragrant.
And lastly, Shea Candle Co. strives to expand the way people see and experience art. Evoking emotion, telling stories of multiple genres and generations, and bringing fourth visions, all through fragrance.
